Theatre Events

Rules

1. Individual event, single round
2. Participants can perform a single act from any of these forms - acting, impressions, stand up comedy, spoken word poetry
3. Merging of forms resulting in a single act is allowed.
4. Time limit : (3+1) mins
5. Failure to comply with the time limit will result in reduction of points
6. Languages allowed: English, Hindi and Kannada
7. Music/tunes of any kind to support a performance must be in an mp3 format.
8. Obscenity of any kind will result in immediate disqualification.
9. Decision of the judge(s) is binding and final

Rules

1. Number of members in a team - 6 to 8
2. Time limit: 7+2 minutes
3. No props allowed
4. Placards can be usedfor portrayal of messages
5. Brief introduction OR conclusion is allowed
6. If there is music, it should be only tunes.
7. No dialogues allowed.
8. Points will be given on the basis of innovation,expressions, impact and depiction of theme.
9. Additional marks will be given for acts incorporating the theme of the fest and make up.
10. Judges decision will be the final decision.

Rules

1. Solo Event
2. Participants will go through an initial screening round before moving into the final round
3. 12 finalists will be selected (6 girls and 6 boys)
4. Two winners will be crowned Mr. and Ms. Maaya 2019
5. Participants will be judged on their personality so be sure to bring your A game

Rules

1. Only a team of 3 can participate in the event.
2. Actors should not make any lip movements.
3. Actors are not allowed to talk during the game. The same actor will not be allowed to act consecutively.
4. The team will be disqualified if the actor shows alphabets or letters.
5. Each team is expected to complete the actions within the given time limit.
6. Participants are not allowed to guess the other team’s actions.
7. Any misconceptions will be cleared by judges.
8. Participants should respect other participants and not fight with them.
9. There will be 4 rounds:

• 1st round- Words(A choice between general and fandom related)
• 2nd round- Movies(Players can choose from Hindi and English)
• 3rd round- Songs(Players can choose from Hindi and English)
• 4th round- Famous personalities or quotes(Players can choose between fictional (fandom related) or non fictional)
